Bryan’s epic climb for Lumos

Meet Bryan Washburn from New York, who took on an incredible fundraising challenge and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Lumos in 2019,  raising almost £2,000 to support our work fighting for every child’s right to a family. 

Here he tells us more about this epic challenge, why he decided to take it on and how it finally felt when he reached Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro, unfurling his Lumos banner at 5,895m – the highest point in Africa! Thank you Bryan!
