A new publication produced in parnership with Child Rights Centre titled 'NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO HARM YOU' is a book for children and young people that has been created to help them understand what abuse and neglect means.

The book was developed with input from children and young people, including those with intellectual disabilities. It has been translated into Braille as well as English and was launched at a promotional event for young people from the general population, young people with intellectual disabilities and for adults/professionals who are responsible for the implementation of child rights, as well as a few organisations that provide services to blind and visually impaired children and those that provide services or support to young people with impaired hearing. During the promotion the interactive work with children and young people was organised in order to create messages for the state, adults and their peers to initiate improvements in protecting children and young people from abuse and neglect. All children who participated in the promotion left messages and drawings on a large canvas. The messages of young people with intellectual disabilities, which have been left on the canvas, related to the theme of abuse and neglect, and were addressed to all members of the local community who can contribute and to help young people who are suffering from any form of abuse or neglect.
More information about the publication is available here in Serbian and English.
