Lumos Foundation USA are aiming for this campaign to raise at least $1m to support their work, including:
- Supporting the closure of harmful orphanage and reuniting children with families.
- Providing safe, caring alternative placements for children who are unable to return to their homes
- Protecting children from trafficking, abuse and exploitation
- Raising awareness of the harm caused by donors unknowingly funding harmful orphanages.
In 2016 Lumos rescued Ilove and her brother from an orphanage in Haiti. They are now happily reunited with their family. Watch their story.
