As we head into a new and brighter year, we wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for your support through 2020. You make our vital work around the world possible.
Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, your tremendous support meant we could prevent thousands of vulnerable children’s lives from being torn apart.
Here’s a timely reminder of some of the amazing things we achieved together last year:
HELPING VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN COLOMBIA THROUGH THE PANDEMIC
We moved quickly to help families like Manuel’s, who were struggling to meet their children’s most basic needs – delivering emergency food packages, financial assistance and providing counselling support for isolated children.

TACKLING CHILD TRAFFICKERS AND REUNITING SEPARATED CHILDREN IN HAITI
Our increased monitoring meant we could work together with the local authorities in Haiti to reveal the terrible conditions in one so-called orphanage and reunite 20 children with their families.

CONTRIBUTING TO GROUND-BREAKING RESEARCH IN THE LANCET
We co-authored new research in the world’s leading independent medical journal, shedding light on the situation of the estimated 5.4 million children living in institutions and presenting evidence of the harm of institutionalisation.

ASSISTING CHILDREN WITH URGENT AND SPECIALIST NEEDS
Since we helped loving foster mother Dima save Isus from Bulgaria’s Krushari institution, we continue to check in with Dima. This year, we delivered urgent supplies and specialist equipment to help keep the family safe and healthy.
